Kaiten

Introduction

Editions

What each Kaiten edition includes — Community Edition, the Kaiten Cloud tiers, and Standalone — across the full capability matrix.

Kaiten ships in three hosting models: self-hosted (the open-source Community Edition), Kaiten Cloud (managed, shared infrastructure), and dedicated (Standalone, on your infrastructure). Across them, five editions:

EditionHostingHow you get it
Community EditionSelf-hosted (open source, Apache-2.0)Self-serve — clone and run
Cloud StarterKaiten Cloud (shared)Self-serve, no card
Cloud GrowthKaiten Cloud (shared)Self-serve, monthly or annual
Cloud EnterpriseKaiten Cloud (shared)Sales-assisted, annual
StandaloneDedicated — customer VPCSales-led, annual contract

Unlimited on every edition, never billed: console seats, instances, and flag & entitlement evaluations. Agents and service accounts never consume a seat. Kaiten's scaling metric is the number of customers you manage.

Every figure — prices, quota values, overage rates, SLA levels — lives in one place: kaiten.sh/pricing.

Reading the matrix: ✓ included · — not included · Add-on available as a paid extension · Coming soon on the roadmap, not yet in the product. Where a quota applies, the cell shows ✓ and the pricing page carries the value. Community Edition quotas are informative only — the stack is yours, self-hosted under Apache-2.0, and Kaiten enforces nothing in it.

¹ The Community Edition consumes the event stream directly from its own stack — managed webhook delivery is a Kaiten Cloud capability. On Kaiten Cloud it is carried by the License: the webhooks entitlement is a monthly allowance of published events, the webhooks routes are served where your organization's License grants some, and they answer 403 where it grants none — managing endpoints.

² Connectors ship inside the Kaiten binary — the Attio connector today — and stay inert until an organization activates them and stores a key. A connector that names an entitlement is activated only where the organization's License grants it; the Attio connector names none — it is included in every License — so no License check refuses its activation, on Kaiten Cloud or on a self-hosted stack.
