Two tracks to a working Kaiten setup — build the chain from the API, or tour it in the console.
By the end of this section you will have a running Kaiten setup — Kaiten Cloud or self-hosted — with the core chain in place: a Customer with an Instance, a License granting a metered Entitlement, usage reported against a limit that pushes back, and a feature flag whose rule reads the contract. In other words: the commercial agreement and the runtime behavior, in one system, verifiably in sync.
Pick your track — they end in the same place, and each links to the other:
Quickstart — build it yourself (~10 min)
Build the chain step by step in the console — the API equivalent of every step is one unfold away, with the exact response to compare against.
Console Tour — the seeded demo (~5 min)
Walk the seeded Kaiten Sushi Shop demo: customers, licenses and their entitlements, flags, service accounts.
Then wire Kaiten into the rest of your stack:
Editions
What each Kaiten edition includes — Community Edition, the Kaiten Cloud tiers, and Standalone — across the full capability matrix.
Quickstart
The whole chain in ten minutes — model a customer and their contract in the console, enforce a usage limit, and watch a feature flag follow the contract.
